Leah, Office Manager
Leah graduated from Nicholls State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2011. Originally from Houma, she joined our team at Family Pet Animal Hospital in 2016 as an experienced office manager. Leah loves to make people and their pets feel welcome and excited to visit our veterinary hospital, while taking care of any special concerns you may have before, during, or after your visit.
Outside of the hospital, Leah enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. Her pet family includes Roddie and Ollie.
Heather, Veterinary Technician
Heather joined Family Pet Animal Hospital in 2016 as an experienced veterinary assistant. Calling Modesto, California her hometown, she graduated from the Veterinary Technology Program at San Juan College and became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2018. Along with her general technician duties, Heather plays a key role in client education by providing invaluable information about heartworm prevention and vaccinations to pet owners.
Heather enjoys spending time with her husband, Jesse, and their three cats named Luna, Wesley, and Church.
Karly, Veterinary Assistant
Karly became a member of our team in July of 2018 as a veterinary assistant. She is enjoying getting to know all of our patients and clients at their annual visits. Karly is always willing and eager to learn, and she looks forward to increasing her knowledge base so she can provide your pets with the best care possible.
Karly is from Lockport, and she lives here with her husband, two kids, and their dog, Bella. Outside of the hospital, Karly enjoys visiting Disney World and Universal Studios, kickboxing, and spending time with family and friends.
Sarah, Veterinary Assistant
Sarah joined the staff at Family Pet Animal Hospital as a veterinary assistant in 2021. She is currently enrolled in Penn Foster College’s Veterinary Technician program. Sarah is originally from LaPlace, and currently resides in Galliano with her husband, her son, and tons of cows.
Fun facts about Sarah are that she enjoys time on the farm, family time, and Cuban food that her in-laws cook.
Elisa became a member of the team at Family Pet Animal Hospital in August of 2019 having more than 10 years of experience in the veterinary field. She is the first person you will see when walking in, and she will always greet you with a smile. Elisa is ready, willing, and happy to help with any questions or concerns you may have at your visit. She currently does not have any pets of her own, but looks forward to meeting our wonderful patients!
In her free time, Elisa enjoys crafting, reading, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
